Why is my Apple device having trouble connecting to the internet?

In order to allow Habyts to operate on your Apple iOS device we use a VPN (Virtual Private Network), this means our servers communicate directly with Apple's servers before routing any traffic to the internet.

When your device is having difficulty connecting to the internet you may see a VPN symbol appear in your notification bar, this is because VPN needs a reliable connection to manage your device effectively. If your iOS device is on an unstable network connection, the VPN may not connect. Your network connection may still show you are connected when you in fact you aren’t.

If your device is taking too long to connect to the internet and the VPN symbol is visible in your notification bar, try restarting your device.

Your device will start a fresh connection and it will resolve this issue.
