Why are my kids playing games when Habyts is supposed to be active?

If your kids use Apple iOS devices, you may have noticed that some games seem to be outside the control of Habyts.

Habyts manages all the apps that your kids download from the AppStore. However, a number of Apple iOS games have appeared which look like apps but behave more like websites. These so-called ‘web apps’ download their content to Safari ‘on-the-fly’ via a website link.

Habyts can block web apps as long as they need an internet connection. However, due to Apple’s restrictions, Habyts is unable to block those web apps which are capable of running offline.
