We launched a new version of Habyts in September 2018, so if you were using Habyts before the 5th of July 2018, you’ll need to upgrade to the new version of Habyts. The new version is easier to use, faster and more reliable.
To benefit from these major improvements, please complete the steps below immediately.
Note, for controlled child devices using iOS 9 or lower, going forward we will be supporting devices with iOS 10 and higher. If your device supports it, please upgrade to iOS 11. You can also learn more here.
Step 1 – Sign in as a Parent on each of your child’s iOS 10/11 devices.
Step 2 - If you put Habyts on the device(s) before 5th July 2018, please update your Habyts app to the latest version, using the App Store (in the same way as you would update any app on the device). For more information on how update your app - Click Here
Step 3 - Launch the Habyts app. It should open at your Parent Dashboard.
Step 4 – Go to Help > My Account > My Devices. In the list of devices, locate the device you are using. It will be the name of the device with "(This Device)" written next to it.
Step 5 - Click on the pencil icon and then click the blue "Create Habyts GO shortcut" button on this page.
Step 6 - Follow the on-screen instructions to create your Habyts GO web app on your child's device.
Note: You will need to repeat the above steps on each of your children's iOS 10/11 devices, (or iOS devices that they have access to).
The Habyts GO app is the best way for your child to sign in on their device.
